Tablets for the treatment of roundworms and tapeworms in cats Each tablet contains 20mg praziquantel (Ph. Eur.) and 230mg pyrantel embonate.Worms controlled include - Ascarids:Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina Tapeworms:Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis Dosage - Give 1 tablet per 4 kg (9lbs) bodyweight. The coated tablets should be given directly but if necessary can be disguised in food. Drontal Plus Tablets - Dogs & Puppies
Tablets for the control of tapeworms and roundworms of dogs and puppies. 1 tablet contains 50mg praziquantel (Ph. Eur), 144mg pyrantel embonate and 150 mg febantel.Worms controlled include - Ascarids:Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms) Hookworms:Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults). Whipworms:Trichuris vulpis (adults) Tapeworms:Echinococcus species, Taenia species, Dipylidium species (adult and immature forms) Dosage 1 tablet per 10 kg (22lbs) bodyweight. The tablets can be given directly to the dog or disguised in food. Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 month intervals. Where treatment is required for roundworms only, Drontal Puppy Suspension may prove a more convenient product in puppies and young dogs up to one year of age. It is advisable to treat the bitch at the same time as the puppies. For routine control, adult dogs should be treated every 3 months. Drontal Puppy Suspension - Puppies & Young Dogs
For the treatment and control of roundworms of puppies and young dogs up to one year of age. Each ml of suspension contains 14.4mg pyrantel embonate and 15 mg febantel.Worms controlled include - Ascarids:Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina Hookworms:Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum Whipworms:Trichuris vulpis Dosage and administration - 1 ml suspension/kg body weight administered orally.Through intrauterine and transmammary infection, ascarid infestation may occur in dogs at a very early age. It is recommended that treatment with Drontal Puppy Suspension should start at 2 weeks of age and be repeated at two weekly intervals until 12 weeks of age.The product may be given directly to the animal or mixed with the food. There are no special dietary precautions to be taken. Mix the product by inversion of the container before withdrawing the required dose.
