While we do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time, we are unable to fully guarantee this, however, where third party couriers are used, you will be provided with an estimated time of arrival via a tracking number (excludes orders sent via Royal Mail).
If you've shopped with us before, you'll know that your animals mean the world to us, so please be assured that we are working as hard as we can to ensure deliveries are dispatched as quickly as possible. There may, however, be a few occasions when orders don’t quite make it out for delivery as quickly as usual, or when couriers might take a little longer to get your parcel to you. We aim to dispatch your orders as quickly as we can. International orders are generally dispatched within 7 days of receipt.
Please examine your order immediately upon receipt and report any problems or dissatisfaction with your order to PETCETERA ETC within 48 hours.
If PETCETERA ETC has made a mistake in shipping your order this will be rectified as soon as possible and any return carriage charges incurred by the customer will be refunded.
If you have ordered in error and wish to exchange the goods, please return the goods in an unused, resaleable condition within 7 working days and we will endeavour to exchange the goods where possible, making any extra financial adjustments regarding the cost of the exchanged products. Please note an additional standard postage charge will be made for shipping the exchanged goods back to the customer.
If you have ordered in error and no exchange is required please return the goods unopened and in a resaleable condition within 7 working days and the full price of the product will be refunded.
Standard delivery (5-7 working days) is charged at £4.95 on all orders under £100 delivered to an address within mainland UK. For orders over £100.00, delivery is free of charge to an address located within mainland UK, with the exception of addresses in the Highlands and Islands of the British Isles where the following shipping charges will apply: £9.95 on orders under £100.00; £5.00 on orders over £100.00. If you require an order sending on an EXPRESS service (not including Saturday) this will cost £9.95. Saturday deliveries are charged at £12.00. If you require this service please ensure your order is placed by no later than 2:00pm on the day you require us to dispatch, otherwise it will be collected by our courier service the next following day. These rates apply to Mainland UK delivery address ONLY - see below for Highlands and Islands services. Please call us if you have any queries regarding express delivery.
For Highlands & Islands the Royal Mail Special delivery guaranteed service by 5.30pm is available for the following postcodes: AB30-56, IV21-28, IV40, IV52, IV54, KW1-14, PA28-38, PH15, 17-26, PH31-40, PH49-50, HS1, HS3-9, IV41-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, PA20 (0-9), PA41-49, PA60, PA77, KW15, KW16 (Stromness Town only), GY9 (Alderney), ZE1 (Lerwick). Delivery after two working days by 5.30pm for postcodes: GY1 3 (Herm), GY10 (Sark), HS2, PA61-75, PA78, ZE2-3. Delivery after 3 working days by 5.30pm on the third working day to postcodes: KW16-17, PH30, PH41-44. Saturday guaranteed delivery is not available for: GY1 3 (Herm), GY9 (Alderney), GY10 (Sark). Please note this service may incur an additional charge, please contact us for a quote.
Please note: In the event of severe weather conditions eg: snow, there may be a delay in receiving your goods, Parcelforce, DHL or UK Mail may not attempt delivery direct to your home and instead leave your goods at your Local Post Office. Again during times of severe weather disruption, Royal Mail services may be disrupted, resulting in you receiving your goods later than expected. During these times we will also not be able to guarantee a next day delivery service.
Please note that due to the pandemic, delivery charges outside of mainland UK may differ from those stated below and should only be used as an estimate. Due to this, shipping charges will be calculated after purchasing online. Upon ordering we will contact you with an accurate delivery cost once we know the dimensions and weight of the parcel. Please accept our sincere apologies for this.
Outside UK Mainland Delivery charges are charged per parcel (max 20kg) see below – if when your order is processed it comes to more than one parcel we will contact you to confirm that you are happy to pay any extra delivery charges. In the unlikely circumstance you are not happy to pay the extra delivery charge your order will be cancelled and refunded. Please note that there are also parcel size and volumetric weight restrictions for deliveries outside Mainland UK, together with regulations regarding the transportation of liquids. We will contact you should your parcel fall into these categories and advise regarding additional delivery costs. Apologies, we are unable to ship aerosols outside of mainland Europe.

Any other Country – The postage rate you see when ordering is our standard postage rate. In some circumstances, delivery will be higher depending on the weight/cubic volume of your order when packed. In this case, you will be contacted and asked if you accept the extra shipping charge. If you do not accept the extra shipping charge, and further payment is not received, all other charges will be refunded and your order automatically cancelled. Alternatively, please email for a delivery quote prior to placing an order, clearly stating which products you are interested in.

Please note that Click & Collect orders will only be processed during our normal working hours. If an order is placed after 1 pm or over the weekend, it will be processed the following working day.
