This collection was developed in partnership with the esteemed terrier breeder, groomer, and show handler Dan Sacko, who has mentored many notable figures in the industry, including Gabriel Rangel. The Dan Sacko tools are crafted for versatile hand stripping techniques, coat rolling, and flatwork. Each knife is pre-dulled and features a textured surface for a secure grip. The ergonomic wooden handle is designed for maximum comfort, with a smooth finish that wraps around three sides. This set is tailored for right-handed users, while left-handed tools can be requested.

Top Tip

Card the coat first to get required undercoat removed. Then hand strip by pulling the hair straight out without twisting or bending your wrist; otherwise the hair gets cut or breaks. You should see a bulb at the end of the hair to show that it was pulled out at the follicle. Ideally hand stripping should be every 3-4 weeks.
