The leather is vegetable tanned using tannins and other ingredients found in different vegetable matter, such as tree bark prepared in bark mills, wood, leaves, fruits, and roots.   Colours may run as they do in  traditionally tanned leather, so it is best to avoid contact with a wet dog!

As this is a natural product colours may fade a little in time.  Clean with a damp cloth, oil or saddlesoap can be used to preserve the suppleness
