Application

By ordering any goods, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You may only purchase goods from the website if you are eligible to enter into a contract and are at least 18 years old. These terms also apply to Trade Customers purchasing goods with the intention of reselling.

Definitions

Goods

Descriptions of goods are set out on the website, catalogues, and other advertisements. Any description is for illustrative purposes only; there may be minor discrepancies in size and colour.

For goods made to your special requirements, it is your responsibility to ensure any information or specification you provide is accurate. All goods are subject to availability. We may make changes to comply with applicable law or safety requirements and will notify you of these.

Basis of Sale

Listing goods on the website does not constitute a contractual offer. When an order is submitted we may reject it for any reason, though we will try to inform you without delay.

A contract is formed only when you receive an Order Confirmation email from us. You must ensure the confirmation is accurate and report any errors immediately. Any quotation is valid for a maximum of 14 days.

We reserve the right to place orders on hold and request an alternative payment method if internal or external security checks raise concerns. Fraudulent orders will be reported to the police.

Price & Payment

Prices are as shown on the website at the time of order. Prices include VAT where applicable. Payment is by credit or debit card at the time of order, and we may take payment immediately or before delivery, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Delivery

We will deliver goods to your specified location without undue delay and in any event no later than 30 days after the contract is formed.

If we fail to deliver on time, you may treat the contract as ended if we have refused delivery, if time was essential, or if we have not delivered within a reasonable extended period you have specified. In such cases we will promptly refund all payments.

If you fail to take delivery through no fault of ours, we may charge the reasonable costs of storage and re-delivery. For orders outside UK Mainland, you agree that additional delivery and customs charges may apply; Petcetera is not responsible for such charges.

Risk & Title

Risk of damage or loss passes to you when goods are delivered. You do not own the goods until we have received payment in full. If payment is overdue or steps are taken towards your bankruptcy, we may cancel delivery and require return of any goods still in your possession.

Withdrawal, Returns & Cancellation

Right to Cancel

You may cancel this contract within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason, except where goods are made to your specification, clearly personalised, or liable to deteriorate rapidly.

To cancel, send a clear written statement to us — by letter or via our contact form. You must be able to show evidence of when the cancellation was made.

Refunds

We will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of receiving evidence that you have returned them. We may deduct an amount for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to assess the goods. Refunds are made to your original payment method.

Return Address

Return goods to: Bradeley Green, Tarporley Road, Whitchurch, Shropshire, SY13 4HD. Return postage costs are at your expense unless the error was ours.

Conformity

We have a legal duty to supply goods in conformity with the Contract. Upon delivery, goods will be of satisfactory quality, reasonably fit for purpose (including any purpose you made known to us before the contract), and conforming to their description.

Privacy & Data

We retain and use all information strictly under our Privacy Policy. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are the Data Controller for any Personal Data we process in providing goods to you.

Intellectual Property

All website content — including text, graphics, and videos — unless supplied by a third party, is and remains the property of Petcetera. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute such materials without our prior written permission.

Third-party content belongs to the relevant supplier or manufacturer. You may not copy or distribute their materials without their prior written permission.

Disclaimers & Liability

Petcetera makes no guarantees that the website will always be accurate or uninterrupted. We take reasonable steps to ensure security and freedom from viruses, but make no warranties in this regard.

We do not exclude liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to this, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses (e.g. loss of profit) where you are not buying as a business.

Governing Law & Complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. By using the website, you agree that English and Welsh courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
